Time off

Time off

Exempt employees
At Adobe, we believe that taking time off for vacation and other personal needs is essential to the health and productivity of every employee. Like a number of other employers in the United States, Adobe does not have prescribed vacation days or a "paid time off" (PTO) policy for its exempt employees. Each employee's personal and work situation is unique, and we encourage employees to work directly with their managers to arrange for time off. Employees simply continue to receive their regular pay when they are taking time away from work for vacation or other personal reasons*.

*With the exception of time off for illness or leaves of absence, which are handled separately under those policies.

Non-Exempt Employees
PTO is available for vacation, sick leave, personal business, and floating holidays. Employees accrue PTO at 16 hours (2 days) per month for the first 5 years of service.

Sick time

Exempt employees are provided 10 sick days per year.

Non-Exempt Employees
PTO is available for vacation, sick leave, personal business, and floating holidays. Employees accrue PTO at 16 hours (2 days) per month for the first 5 years of service.

Sabbatical

A Sabbatical is 4 weeks of paid time off after 5 years of regular continuous employment, 5 weeks after 10 years and 6 weeks after 15 years. The Sabbatical benefit is in addition to other Time Off benefits.

Holidays

In the United States, Adobe observes 12 paid holidays per calendar year, in addition to other Time Off benefits.

Holiday shutdown
