Retirement, savings, financial, and profit-sharing benefits

Adobe Profit Sharing Plan

Eligible employees are awarded up to a 10 percent profit sharing bonus paid quarterly, based on Adobe's financial performance.

Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)

Employees outside of Brazil, Russia, and China may contribute up to 25 percent of their eligible compensation to purchase Adobe stock. Enroll during semi-annual open enrollment periods (June and December), and make changes to deferral percentages at any time. Lock in a favorable stock price for up to a 24-month period. Stock is purchased every six months at a price that is at least 15 percent below market value.

Adobe Stock Option Plan

All new employees are given a stock option grant, which offers them the option to purchase Adobe stock at a set price. Employees may exercise option shares upon vest in a variety of ways, one of which being to sell their shares without having to use cash for the initial purchase.

Adobe Bonus Programs

Adobe employees may be eligible for bonus plans in addition to their base pay. These include Sales Compensation Plans, Team Bonus Plans for shipping quality products on time, and the Annual and Quarterly Incentive Plans for management positions. Special Recognition awards are given to recognize above and beyond contributions and results.

Adobe 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan

U.S. employees may contribute up to 65 percent of their tax-deferred compensation to Adobe’s 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan (subject to IRS annual limits). Adobe matches 50 percent of the first 6 percent of employee contributions. The Plan offers auto enrollment, online account access and the ability to make changes on a daily basis. Employees may choose from a diversified lineup of 14 core investment options, 11 date-specific Target Retirement Funds and/or The Vanguard Brokerage Option. Investment advice and retirement seminars are offered to assist employees with investment decisions. Rollovers are accepted from previous employer qualified plans.

Adobe Deferred Compensation Plan

Adobe’s Deferred Compensation Plan (DCP) supplements the Adobe 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan by providing an additional opportunity to tax defer a portion of income. U.S. Director-level positions and above (and equivalent) are eligible to participate in this program. Eligible employees may defer compensation from base salary, commission pay, quarterly profit sharing and the annual incentive plan bonus.

529 College Savings Plan

U.S. employees may set aside money with tax-free growth for qualified educational costs. There are six funds to choose from including age based as well as aggressive growth and balanced portfolios. There are daily enrollment and changes with no waiting period and convenient direct deposits into chosen beneficiary's account.
