Adobe Photoshop and Adobe GoLive Also Named as Eddy Award Finalists
San Jose, Calif., (January 5, 2000) (Nasdaq:ADBE)--Adobe Systems Incorporated today announced that Adobe® After Effects® and Adobe InDesign® software took top honors in their respective categories at the 15th annual Macworld Editors Choice Awards. These tools are tightly integrated with Adobes other award-winning applications including Adobe Photoshop®, Adobe Illustrator® and Adobe Premiere® and comprise one of the industrys most popular, comprehensive solutions for professional Web design, dynamic media creation and print publishing.

Best Digital Video Software Adobe After Effects 4.1
Best Publishing Software Adobe InDesign 1.0
In addition, Adobe GoLive 4.0 Software was a finalist in the Best Web Authoring Software category, Adobe Acrobat was a finalist in the Best Publishing Software category and Adobe Photoshop 5.5 with ImageReady® 2.0 was a finalist in the Best Web Graphics Software category.
The prestigious Eddys were awarded by Macworld Magazine, the leading Macintosh monthly and a pioneer in the computer publications industry. Presented during an event that kicked off the Macworld Exposition being held this week in San Francisco, the Eddy Awards are the Macintosh industrys highest distinction for breakthrough product development and technological innovation and are presented to products in 26 categories. Macworlds editors and lab team reviewed hundreds of new products evaluating each for technological innovation, quality, performance, user friendliness, and value to arrive at the finalist list.
