Groundwork concerts available on CD and Web

Proceeds go to combat world hunger

SAN JOSE, Calif., (September 25, 2001) (Nasdaq: ADBE)--In the first day of public ticket sales on August 25, the Groundwork concert events to be held at the Key Arena and Paramount Theater in Seattle, Washington, sold out. The sold-out concert status is the first in a series of fund-raising activities supporting the Groundwork effort aimed at combating world hunger. By underwriting these concert events, Adobe is able to assure that the net proceeds from ticket sales, merchandising, and from the Web site will be directly funding FAO's TeleFood small-scale agricultural projects.

On October 3, 2001, a Groundwork CD containing many previously unreleased tracks of high-profile artists will be sold for a limited time in Starbucks and Hear Music stores in Canada and the USA. The profits from these CDs will go directly to fund FAO's TeleFood small-scale farming projects that help the hungry feed themselves.
