| Adobe Acquires Leading Audio Application and Technology from Syntrillium Software | |||
`Cool Edit Pro' Audio Software Expands Adobe's Professional Digital Video Product Family SAN JOSE, Calif. — May 19, 2003 (NASDAQ: ADBE) — Adobe Systems Incorporated today announced an agreement to acquire the technology assets of Syntrillium Software, a leader in digital audio tools. Syntrillium's flagship product, Cool Edit Pro, will join the company's existing line of professional digital video products that include Adobe® Premiere®, Adobe After Effects®, Adobe Encore™ DVD and Adobe Photoshop®. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Adobe expects that the acquisition will not have a material impact to earnings per share in Q203 or FY03.
