- What is Adobe Contribute CS3?
- Adobe Contribute® CS3 software enables anyone to quickly and easily update existing websites and blogs while maintaining the look and feel imposed by Adobe Dreamweaver®
software templates — without learning HTML. With Adobe Contribute CS3, content authors
can post content to multiple websites and blogs from a single application or publish directly
from within Microsoft Office applications with the click of a button. And because Adobe
Contribute CS3 seamlessly integrates with Dreamweaver, website integrity is never compromised — even when multiple authors update content across the site.
- Who should buy Adobe Contribute CS3?
- Professional web designers, web developers, and website administrators should purchase Adobe Contribute CS3 to give content contributors and editors the ability to update website
content or edit blog entries without having to learn HTML.

- True WYSIWYG authoring that enables users to update multiple websites and blogs
from a single application without learning HTML

entry while editing (requires installation of Adobe Acrobat® software, sold separately; Acrobat
CS3 Professional is included with Adobe Creative Suite® 3 Web Premium and Master Collection)

- What are the primary benefits of Adobe Contribute CS3?
- Adobe Contribute CS3 enables website developers, designers, and administrators to:
- Reduce editing time by enabling content contributors to update multiple websites and blogs from a single application, without learning HTML The WYSIWYG authoring capabilities within
Adobe Contribute CS3 enable content authors and contributors to edit or update any website or blog
in three simple steps, dramatically reducing editing time.
- Maintain website integrity and look and feel through integration with Dreamweaver
templates Contribute CS3 uses Dreamweaver CS3 templates, helping to ensure accurate updates to
websites designed with Dreamweaver. Look and feel are never compromised, even when multiple
authors update content across the site. Authors can update only areas designated by the designer
or webmaster, so the site always appears as the designer intended. And just like Dreamweaver,
Contribute CS3 preserves code quality and formats throughout the editing process.
- Control website authoring permissions with site administration and connection
management consoles Fine-grained permissions enable website administrators to
ensure that only authors with permissions can update specified website content, thereby
preserving site integrity and content approval workflows.
- Give users the ability to post and publish content from within Microsoft Office applications Integration between Adobe Contribute CS3 and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel,
Outlook, and Word, enables content contributors to publish directly from these applications to
target websites and blogs, further reducing editing time.
- Help users within the organization get started with blogging Adobe Contribute CS3 makes it
easy for users to start blogging — working in the same familiar environment they use to update website
content. Work offline; then publish when ready, reducing the risk of losing content due to a lost
connection or unintended keystroke.
