Design a Photoshop image, and access the Variables dialog box.
In Adobe ImageReady® 7.0, create a Photoshop image that has two text layers and two image layers. On the lower text layer, include text that you want to edit in GoLive. On the upper image layer, include content that you want to hide in GoLive. Then choose Image > Variables > Define.

Assign a Text Replacement variable to a text layer.
From the Layer pop-up menu, choose the lower text layer. Select Text Replacement, and then name the variable so that you can identify it in GoLive (for example, Replacement_for_second_text). Note that variable names can't contain special characters, such as spaces.
|
When importing a Photoshop file, GoLive automatically applies a Text Replacement variable to the topmost text layer. For lower text layers you must first assign Text Replacement variables in ImageReady.

Assign a Visibility variable to an image layer.
From the Layer pop-up menu, choose the image layer that you want to hide. Select Visibility, and name the variable. Click OK, and then save the image.
|
If you want to assign a variable to a background layer, you must first convert the background layer to a regular layer: In the Layers palette, double-click the background layer, name it, and then click OK.
