“Watch your thoughts for they become words. Watch your words for they become actions. Watch your actions for they become habits. Watch your habits for they become your character. And watch your character for it becomes your destiny. What we think, we become. My father always said that...and I think I am fine.”
― Margaret Thatcher
Li (Lily) Li has been a teacher of Languages Other Than English, Senior Mathematics, and ICT at Tullawong State High School since 2010. She has been passionate about integrating key learning areas (KLAs) with 21st century technology. She always looks for opportunities to teach computer literacy skills across various curriculum areas because she believes students can use these skills not only in their academic studies but also in life and in their future careers. Li loves sharing her knowledge and experience with other Adobe Education Leaders.
Back in 1998, when Li was only in year 10 in Guangzhou, China, she acquired her very first Adobe certificate, in Photoshop. Ever since then, she has explored a range of Adobe products for both personal and professional use. The products she has experience with include Photoshop, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, and Flash Professional. The ones she would love to know better are Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
Li earned a bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, in 2000; a master’s degree in Translation and Interpreting of English and Mandarin from the University of New South Wales in 2010; and a teaching credential from the Australian Catholic University, Queensland, in 2011.
