Client: TEXT MEDIA (Australia)
This magazine illustration depicts Chubb Security at work 24 hours a day. I thought a "Knight in Shining Armour" approach would work well and kept the colours in my Adobe Illustrator 7.0 file down to seven for the sombre background buildings and three light colours for the white shirt. The figure is faceless and the buildings have no detail, which together give a nice mood to the illustration. The gradient tool was perfect for this with its subtle shifts in colour just giving a hint of shape and form. |
