Flash Professional CS6 3.7 5 15 15
Amazing Flash is able to fill your needs through many alternatives, and I don't see anything wrong with it. 06-May-2013
Good, but useless for multi projects My business just updated from CS5 to CS6, and I am not impressed with the lack of features and tools that one needs. In my line of work, I create multiple templates and then use those templates to create the many different web banners that our clients order. On any given day, I may create up to 20-30 different banners, and flash CS5 had no problems. But now that there is no "use default name" button on the publish settings pop up, I have (had) to type in each and every new file name, since the file retains the original template name. And when you do 20 different names, and each name is 25-30 characters, you lose LOTS of time and invite mistakes into the name. From now on, until this issue is fixed, I will be using CS5. 11-March-2013
Used Flash pretty much all my life Hello Adobe! You don't know it, but you're a major part of my life. I'm 19 and have animated using Flash since I was 7, that was during the Macromedia days... good times. I also devote a lot of my time to making a flash series with over 150k followers. I got this product as a gift in June, at first I was impressed at what a step up it is from CS4, which was my previous version. HOWEVER HOWEVER HOWEVER... I kind of have a love/hate relationship with the autosave feature. At first, autosave was set to 10 minutes, so every time I would get on a roll autosave would swoop in and keep me from working for at least 30 seconds, completely breaking my concentration. And it saves SLOOOOOOOOOWWWWWW. Like, absurdly slow. The file I'm working with right now is 2 GB, so it takes like 2-4 minutes to save (I counted). Good thing I found out how to adjust the time on the autosave/ autorecovery feature to activate every hour, otherwise this flash would never get done. The obvious plus of having an autorecovery feature is that the file won't get corrupted, and that's a huge relief. Another, more minor bug I found is that occasionally, the color swatches will get completely messed up. If I hover over one of the swatches in the color window, it will often select a completely different color, usually a gradient that I had made previously. Good thing I work off of color palettes, otherwise that would be a major thorn in my side. On the bright side though the program has only crashed twice in its 6-month run, so kudos. It's almost like you went the opposite direction of CS4. 08-December-2012
Exporting in .MOV files made easy If you are trying to Export a cartoon as a .mov and it is skipping frames NO NEED TO FEAR! if you have Adobe After Effects you can import .swf files then export as .mov files for the youtube and stuff 04-October-2012

Layers Magazine

Layers Magazine

"The new features in Flash Professional CS5 should bring smiles to the faces of both designers and developers. Two big improvements in the way Flash handles video are the ability to preview an imported video on the Stage and adjust its parameters on the fly."

"Personally, I already have a project on the burner that the new tools and features in Flash CS5 will shorten development time and more than pay for the price of the upgrade from CS4."

"Adobe Flash CS4 has been radically redesigned and restructured. With CS4, Flash has finally turned the corner from a code-based authoring tool with an interactive animation element, to a designer-friendly space for illustrators to intuitively draw animation."

"Flash CS4 is what we have really been waiting for since Flash became an Adobe property. Several advancements in the IDE, new animation controls and did I mention 3D?"
