CSS Lightbox

You can make a lightbox with just css, you'll have less compatibility issues and it's supported by all browsers. Heres a good tutorial: http://sixrevisions.com/css/semantic-css3-lightboxes/

Read This Article About Modal Windows

Hi irmacorredor,
Read this article on modal windows, it should explain why you are having problems.
