Problem

How to create a tag.class via Dreamweaver CS5 Rule window. I want to create a class that affects a specific tag.

Solution

none at the moment

Detailed description

 How to create a tag.class via Dreamweaver CS5 Rule window.  I want to create a class that affects a specific tag.  I can accomplish this via the code window, but I am trying to use the CSS Style window.  The tag that I am creating is "ul.navbar".  I have been able to use compound, but i get "ul .navbar", Note the space between L and the period.  I want to remove the space and just create "ul.navbar", without having to rename it.  The code will show up as:

ul.navbar {
position: absolute;
width: 9em;
left: 1em;
top: 2em;
list-style-type: none;
}

The question may be more base on my understanding of CSS rather than Dreamweaver, if so, I do apologize.  I am just starting to working with CSS.

Answers Not

I wonder if anyone ever uses this forum and gets appropriate answers? There's just no easy way to answer questions about css is there? The context cannot be determined.
