Insert multiple images into your InDesign document at once from a specified diretory. When doing so you can specify the image types to be imported, whether they should be linked or embedded and if they should be re-sized.

It says Windows only but it runs fine on a Mac as well.
For those not going to CS3 it's a nice thing to have.
