Named after Albert Edgar, Ph.D., using a formula he published in the January 2001 PEI magazine. This effect uses mathematically related gaussian blurs and fades to produce a misty, dreamlike blur. Very pleasing.

I somehow have lost ownership of the atn (if I ever had it). There is a newer version available that creates the effect on a separate layer. Google it or find a link here
