CfChat is a real time Web chat application. It is built totally in ColdFusion language and does not require any Java applets. <br> The chat does not use a database and runs in the ColdFusion server memory. This makes it extremely fast, stable and capable of handling many concurrent users. <br> The latest release 5.5 comes in two editions - Flash&HTML and HTML. The difference between them is that the first one has Flash and HTML interfaces communicating with the chat engine. The Flash front-end provides higher browser compatibility. It is quite flexible in terms of layout design and allows different skins to be set up. <br> The HTML edition has only an HTML interface and is fully contained in the HTML&Flash one. <br><br> The main features of the chat are: <ul> <li>Flash and HTML interfaces;</li> <li>Fully multi-language enabled;</li> <li>English, German and Italian languages;</li> <li>Easy integration with an existing user database;</li> <li>Automatic chat logging facility;</li> <li>Multiple chat login forms;</li> <li>Private and public rooms;</li> <li>Changing nicknames, being away with an away message;</li> <li>Changing rooms;</li> <li>Private chats;</li> <li>Ignoring other users in the chat;</li> <li>Creating personal message boxes and leaving messages on the server to other chat users;</li> <li>Supports commands like /nick, /room, /msg, /clear, /ignore, etc;</li> <li>All colors and interface messages can be easily customized;</li> </ul> CfChat comes with an administration system for: <ul> <li>Changing the chat settings;</li> <li>Defining how many windows a user can open;</li> <li>Banning users by ID address or UUID;</li> <li>Start and stop the chat;</li> <li>Setting a list of unacceptable words.</li> <li>Viewing the chat logs.</li> </ul>
