cfx GIF reads in an image file and outputs another in gif format, resizing and saving it with a variety of options. It is primarily used for dynamic and professional quality thumbnail creation. It is meant to work on the fly and by default will intelligently cache images, not re-creating images which have already been created. It can be used directly in live pages without performance consequences.
