Torn Edges Auto Shape

Create a Torned Edge with various options. To apply a torn edges frame, drag the frame onto an object on the canvas. To adjust the width of the frame, drag the control point on the left. To adjust the size of torn pattern, drag the control point on the right. Use 1 for fine, and 100 for coarse. To generate a different torn pattern, click the bottom-left control point . To switch torn pattern placements, click the bottom-right control point. Select inside (the default), outside, or both.

The Extension Manager installs the Torn Edges shape inside the Auto Shapes folder; the Torn Edges shape appears in the Auto Shapes panel in Fireworks. To use the Torn Edges Auto Shape, drag it from the Shapes panel onto an object on the canvas.

Unfortunately, I think that it only works in Fireworks MX. I have Fireworks CS5, and you cannot manipulate the auto shape for the "torn edges" effect. If anyone has any idea of how to use this, please post something under this page. Thanks!

I couldn't get the border to look town even when I made it 100%. I'm on MBP i5 with FW CS5

It says right in the required products Fireworks MX, you shouldn't rate it 1 star just because it doesn't support cs3, it never was meant to.
