The Sprocket Systems Intranet was originally built in 2004 for a major sign manufacturing company. It was built to be a project and inventory tracking system and has been in use by multiple companies for 5 years without any bugs. The project tracking tool includes tasks, project and task time tracking, customer information, notes, file attaching, duplicating projects, re-opening old projects, billing information and creating multiple work orders and work order templates. The Inventory tool includes categories with up to 4 subcategories, product searching, low inventory alerts and image file attachments. Users can be created and given area specific access. The logo can be customized to display your company logo and the browser title bar changed to display your company name. Users can also send web based messages to other users, all users and departments. Any company in any industry can make use of the tools in this web application, however a manufacturer will find it most useful since the entire application was built around a manufacturing company to begin with.
