This is a copper(ish) looking text I created while playing with layer styles. As you can see, the copper kinda wears off into a silver(ish) color above the center line, and below the bottom line.
SUPPORT INFORMATION
This effect was designed for use on a large canvas with a large thick font. I used Impact at 150pt for the example. (due to space limitations) Other instructions included in the action...

Good action that renders a simple but attractive result. The sample image is accurate. Although I worked my way thru the action w/o any problems, a ps novice might find the initial instructions a bit confusing (i.e. press "stop" or press "continue"?) for creating new file and text layer. Room for improvement, but a fine action.
