Stucco One

One of many I use for separation of subjects from backgrounds

Open an image. Double click the thumbnail to make it layer zero and dupe the layer. Click Filter > Distort > Displace & put in how many pixels vertical & horizontal. Then select where you saved this map and click ok. Run a layer mask and reveal all to paint out the effect on your subject. Enjoy

Truly informative and thank you as this is essential for backgrounds and much of what I am "trying" to learn.
