Broken Glass Displace

This will give the illusion as if your image was a broken mirror.

Open you image and dupe it. Run the map as all my others. No need for a layer mask ... save after flattening.

I haven't downloaded it yet. It looks good but I do have one question. Does it flatten the image afterwards or can I tweak the shapes and placement of the breakages? I dislike actions that simply flatten the image.

Really excellent effect !! One question though, i'd like to apply the effect so that the glass and not the picture is shattered *not a big user of these things, actually my first time using these maps :o) thanks very much !

Oh wow! Glowing edges is cool too. Thanks much, and thanks Denis and Mikkel for the tips, they worked great.

Make it easier to see:
Go to File>Place and find the displacement map. Stretch it to fit the image. Go to Filters>Stylize>Find edges. Then multiply the layer and lower the opacity.

I found a use for this one already! Thanks so much! Any low ratings you get will only be from people who don't know how to use displacement maps!
