When taking underwater photos using natural light, much (or all) of the red channel disappears. This Plugin will artificially create a red channel, making the photo useable.

This worked great in previous versions of Photshop ... but although it installs as "Kedaffies's filters" when you try to run "Bring back the Reds" it crashes CS.
Other .8BF filters work OK ... assume there must be a change in CS that prevents filter from working (I now have CS5 extended Ver 12)
Anybody know how to contact the author ?

EW is my HERO! I used this in Elements on my old laptop and have just treated myself to CS4 for my new laptop. I have just loaded the colour correction plug-in onto CS4 with the help of the review from Kyri (who is also a hero for replying to someone who was stuck) and it is working - big BIG thank you for sharing with everyone else.

I am still not seeing it either
I am running CS3 Extended version 10.0.1 on a Macbook Pro OS X 10.5.8.
It does not recognize the .8bf extension. Changed the extension to plug-in but that did not help.

HOW TO USE IT
Its not straighforward. First download the file. If possible note WHERE you download it to in your file directory.
You then need to MOVE the file from that location to program files/adobe/photoshop elements 7 (or whatever version you have)/plug-ins/filters.
Now close PSE if its open and reopen.
Open a file and look in filters, at the bottom you will see "Kedaffie's filters" click and follow the link, its not quick but it IS mighty impressive, especially for a freebie.
THANK YOU for creating it and letting others use it for free
