TwoUp (Win)

TwoUp builds simple booklets for saddle-stitch printing. It's similar to PageMaker's BuildBooklet plug-in--it rearranges items on InDesign pages to create the imposition. All objects remain editable, and all text links are maintained. This script does not yet convert section names to static text, and does not duplicate objects that cross page boundaries to both pages. It also does not take into account master pages that are based on other master pages.

Great program -- and it's free. Simple and easy to use and gets the job done!

For free you can't beat this program! I do agree with John Starr (see review below) that the program should have bene part of InDesign from the start. Do always make a backup before running this program though. But again, for free it's highly recomended.

It would be nice if this script was working on InDesign CS, since Adobe not included it in the program, which I find very strange.

This script is not perfect but it did save me a bunch of time. My only complaint was that it did weird stuff with my page numbers and lost a few frames while reorganizing the pages. Those were minor considering how much time it saved me.

I tried this on my swedish version. It was a total joke. It placed my objects by random in different places in a new document. Totally useless!
