Brilliant, the 'Multiple Library Renamer' worked perfectly. Allowed me to rename hundreds of library items instantly thereby avoiding library conflicts when pasting library items from one Flash document into another. Thanks!

This accomplished what I needed. I needed to get rid of the dot (.) in the Class when you select images to Export for ActionScript. (i.e. image_01.jpg)

Didn't work for me. Selected a block of five images in the Library. Chose Commands>Multiple Library Linkage. Chose a prefix ("item") and a starting index (0). Clicked OK. The output window showed "setting (tartan.jpg) linkage id: item0". Nothing else happened.
