* DESCRIPTION *<br><br> In order to get a hazy effect on an image, or selected sections of it, download the "Heat Haze Effect". Whether you are using "Flash 8" or "Flash CS3" this component is the easiest way to manipulate your image to apply a heat filter on your picture. Compatible with Windows or Mac OSX this effect can be applied on the Flash Timeline or ActionScript and will create a .swf file which can be embedded in any existing projects.<br><br><br> *KEY FEATURES*<br><br> - Create a haze effect on an entire, or section, of an image<br> - Set amount of haze and position on the image<br> - Extensive example files and tutorial included<br> - Free updates<br><br><br> * PARAMETER *<br><br> Target Movieclip: Select the Movieclip you apply the effect to.<br> Shape Movieclip: Select the Movieclip which defines the shape for the animation.<br> Speed (1-10): Sets the speed of the heat haze.<br> Angle: Sets direction of the animation.<br><br><br> * IMPLEMENT ON TIMELINE *<br><br> 1. Drag the component out of the component panel onto the movie clip you want to apply the filter to. The component will snap automatically.<br><br> 2. Change the effect settings in the component inspector panel (find the parameter above).<br><br> 3. Publish the filters and check out the result.<br><br><br> * IMPLEMENT WITH ACTIONSCRIPT *<br><br> 1. The component has to be available in your library, to do so just drag it from the component panel into the library.<br><br> 2. Attach the component with the relavant linkage name.<br><br> 3.
