good work

Amazing. Contrary to the other posts, I was able to make my text longer (by using the "text" tool and resizing the box) and make the entire scrolling sequence 3 seconds.

This is perfect if you ask me.

Excellent. I added extra text and it worked fine (CS4). Note the comment by "amitzi" though. This is correct in that the text moves, but mostly in the same spot. It does give the illusion of moving all the way though. I really liked it...very easy to use. Thank You for posting it.

This seems useful. On careful examination, both the Y and the X propertis changes over time to keep the text moving but in the same spot. but once you're past the last keyframe given, you're out of luck. I think maybe this should be driven by an expression, but can't seem to figure out the math.

While it is very easy to use when working with short text effects, it is not able to modify, easily, in order to accomodate anything larger than the text already supplied. Instructions on how to do so should be provided, or rather, a longer text frame where one can edit it, and then simply reduce the times for the effect based on the timeline.
