For those who are too ignorant to properly create a pattern file (and are more interested in spamming the site, and 5-star-rating all their files along with posting their URL to create Web traffic) here is what to do:
open the file > alt+e (Edit) > d (define pattern) > save the pattern with some name
Then to make sure you can load your pattern later on, alt+e > m (preset manager) > ctrl+5 (Patterns from the drop-down list) > and click the pattern(s) you want to save, and save them with whatever name you want to use.
Voilà!
