Re-sync Text Bounding Box is a simple script which will go through each and every text element present in a png document (be it inside a page or a layer or a state) and re-align its bounding box. This script can be used on any png document which has text boxes shifted or are going out of sync.<br> a. The script, "Shift Bounding Box To Text Image" will keep the image fixed at its current location and re-sync or shift the bounding box to it.<br> b. The script, "Shift Text Image Inside Bounding Box" will keep the bounding box fixed at its current location and re-sync or shift the Text image inside it.<br> Note:<br> 1. Any CS3 text elements if present inside a Group will get re-rendered on running this script.<br> 2. Running this script once on a document will correct all the text bounding boxes which were shifted, at one go. Note that this correction is for that session only. You can again come across text shifting issue while working. Recommended usage would be to run this script once on a document after opening it.<br> 3. This script will not touch any of the CS3 text elements present in the document.

Installed it ok but it just doesnt work. Either it doesnt move the text, or the majority of it disappears!

I'm running MAC OS 10.5.7 and suggestions?

Thanks Arun for uploading the 2 scripts.

Now the scripts have 2 options. The characters will move to the box containing it OR the box will move to accommodate the characters.

I figured out how to use the Adobe Extension Manager with Vista - you need to run the Adobe Extension Manager CS4.exe as an administrator. To do this go to Program Files > Adobe > Adobe Extension Manager CS4 and right-click on the .exe file. This will give you the permission to create the necessary folders. Originally I just tried to double-click on the .mxp file, but I guess that in the world of Vista things just aren't that easy...
After running this extension it works as advertised.
