With the Control Pad you'll get all the standard features of the default Captivate playbar, plus many new features! You can control which buttons appear, their order, and their exact size and appearance. Plus you get many new optional features such as a Menu panel to navigate to specific slide numbers and a Header, Subheader, Footer panels. The Sidebar replaces the Table of Contents with an improved appearance! Other features include an Attachments pop-up window so you can offer users links to files to download. Control Pad buttons can also open any web address and link directly to an email address.Six designs are provided. Users with HTML and CSS knowledge can fully customize the designs. Minimal HTML editing is required. An Instruction Guide provides detailed development information.

I've been using this product for about 3 months. I've used it to build custom templates for a Fortune 100 company. I've been able to build a complete custom solution for movie playback, including our corporate branding, menu system, and HTML page design. I did all this with very minor HTML and CSS editing. The Control Pad Menu is MUCH more usable than the standard Captivate table of contents. Plus, I like being able to edit the Menu without opening Captivate or republishing. Kudos.
