The basic dialog window is an overlay positioned within the viewport and is protected from page content (like select elements) shining through with an iframe. It has a title bar and a content area, and can be moved, resized and closed with the 'x' icon by default.

UI Access:
Download the Widget Browser from Adobe Labs. Select jQuery UI from Adobe Exchange and click the "Add to My Widgets" button in the bottom right. Then from the "My Widgets" view you can click "Configure" button to make your own presets from any of the existing presets. Click the "Save Widget Files" button to save an example html page and all the related css files and javascript code on your machine and see a preview. From Dreamweaver CS5 select the "Widget" item from the Insert menu or Insert Panel and select jQuery UI Dialog 1.7.2 then choose any of the built-in or your own presets to insert the Widget in your page in Dreamweaver.
