Did you select a text layer and ran the code? You might have an old script version without this new font display function.
Please email me your script version at mycort@yahoo.com
I'll look at the code and help you more personally.

I tired this but i get this message:
Please make a selection to measure.

Glad it can help, because this can be a very tedious task to do manually.
To make the font function work, simply select one or more text layers and run the script...it should automatically display it's font info. Highlighting the text will not make this work, just select any text layer and run script.
