Description:

Google Wave is a great way to communicate and collaborate. Waver lets you:

View a list of waves
Reply to waves
Create a new wave
Manage wave contacts

NOTE:

This is an iPhone version of wave and running it on a computer might not load elements like buttons and other UI elements, however, you can click on the text and still use wave. Wave for iPhone is still under development and as it becomes more stable, this application will automatically work better.

Overall a good program. From what I can tell, it is faster than Chrome. However, personally I would prefer an interface that is closer to that of Google's web-based client.

Specifically with the collapsible navigation window and inbox window. Likewise I would like to have a floating menu bar that does not scroll off screen. But given a dropdown menu internal to the blips this isn't such a big issue. You are able to create your own waves and blips as well as edit existing blips.

You do not as of yet have the ability to drag a wave to a blip that is being edited in order to create a hyperlink from a blip to a wave. One thing I miss is the ability to look for group waves, i.e., click on the group email address in the contacts list and have the option of looking at the group waves.

I think the biggest problem is simply that of keeping up with the development of a product that is still in beta -- and recently had a few major changes. I would encourage the programmer to continue development of this program and look forward to seeing it mature.

Disappointed - was hoping that this was a true AIR client and not a just another browser view. Not sure how this is an improvement over a bookmark in FireFox......

yeah, it doesn't work on windows 7. The app opens and I see my inbox, but I can't create any new waves b/c the two top left buttons do not work. I'll stick to the browser app instead. Does work on the iphone though.

Very well done. Faster than the native client session in Chrome. Now, all the interactions aren't there yet. What is the iPhone app going to be called? Waver? I'll check-out waveboard as mentioned. When is 1.1 coming out?

Jash,

Sorry for being thick here, but I am not getting how to install this on the iPhone. Flash Player is required to download the app from what I can see and the iPhone doesn't currently support the flash player. Do I have to jailbreak my iPhone to run your app at the current time?

I downloaded it to my desktop and it looks great. Please clue me in. I am a Wave newbee with an iPhone that is still in jail so to speak.

Great App jash.
Pulverman, I think that Jash's app is designed using the iphone view, rather than implying its an Iphone app. There is an iPhone called Waveboard, but you can view Wave on the iphone anyway through the browser.

This seems like a good, fast Wave client, but how do you edit an existing blip? Every time I try to edit a blip, I can only append content to the end of it, it won't let me edit content that is already there. This is a key function, please add it!
