I have to give this 4 stars simply for the forward thinking of Adobe. Installation effortless on a Mac OSX 10.5.
However I have to doubt the reasoning behind a desktop client for a web based app - surely this creates a kind of oxymoron.

The concept is there but not all the way. The only service that actually seems to run in the AIR application is the "My Files" section. The rest of the services "Buzzword" and "ConnectNow" launch a browser window and the applications run in the browser. It is too bad because I thought finally the Buzzword AIR addition was out. But it is NOT!

This is pretty bad, or I'm doing something wrong. I open the application, log in, and it opens up my web browser and gives me the exact same thing I'd get as if I went to it in my web browser myself.

So essentially this is one oversized Acrobat.com bookmark. I can do without this.

This works great. I love how it incorporates the Buzzword UI elements.

Installed fine on Mac OS X (10.5.3), just make sure you have the Adobe AIR runtime installed first. One of the best examples I've seen of a Rich Internet Application (RIA) that looks/works the same both through a browser and on the desktop.
