Hi there!
It's a great timer.
I use the previous version (2).
One must feature (for paid version) is to enable importing/synchronizing data.
I have projects and tasks in the previous version that I can't take to this version.
Now I have to decide which version to use...
Another feature that is pretty easy to implement and will give a huge upgrade to the application is the possibility to configure the location (path) of the database file that is used in the timer.
This way I can configure it to be placed in a folder that is synchronized between my computers by another solution (e.g. DropBox).
If the database implementation is consistent between versions then this solution can also be an answer to my previous feature request...

Very, very poor design !
How can you produce such has been GUI ?

I really wanted this timer to be good, but sadly it's not working like it should.
When you're not using it, CPU usage stays at 0%, and it's ok. But when you interact with Vertabase Timer, CPU usage goes up to 41% (and I'm on a 2.50 GHz Dual Core2 Duo, with 4GB RAM).
Also, the buttons (and the interface in general) are not very responsive, and it always feels like the software waits a second before reacting to your commands.
Maybe an update will solve this issue?

It is a really light & fast application. We re-tested it on machines with similiar or lower specs & it consumed 0-1% of CPU and is very responsive.
One suggestion: make sure you're on latest AIR 1.5.2.

I really like the reminders when I am working on tasks and that it can be personalized, it really helps me keep track of different jobs for different clients.

It's incredibly easy to use, looks great and most of all, works! Time tracking is often a tedious activity, but he interface on this really makes it a winner. It's intuitive and actually fun to use so it won't be an issue for you or your employees.
It works. It's cool. Try it out and tell others!

Handy tool for activity tracking. It keeps track of tasks and hourly rates, makes charts of time and budget spent and exports data to XML or spreadsheet. Quiet non-intrusive task tracking, highly recommend.
