Biography

Lawrence Cramer's background is in marketing. He has worked as a marketing director in retail distribution, as an advertising executive for a CBS-TV affiliate station, and eventually as a creative director at an advertising agency. This is where he sat in front of his first computer, a Mac Classic. It was love at first site.

As the web gained momentum, he started doing web design. Eventually he moved to the PC side of the fence, learned SQL, ASP, and ColdFusion and began developing dynamic content. Lawrence has used Dreamweaver since version 1 and made the move to UltraDev literally the day it came out. He now works with all the Macromedia Studio programs, as well as Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL Server, and MySQL. ColdFusion is his development language of choice.

Lawrence is IT & Multimedia for Get Fit Foods Inc. and CEO of Application Dynamics , parent company of Cartweaver.com. He also helps out on the Macromedia forums, teaches at the local community college, speaks at web development conferences around the country, and writes articles on web development and e-commerce. For fun he takes motorcycle road trips and occasionally catches a fish or two with his wife of 25-plus years. Lawrence has three children, two daughters, and one son.
