Biography

Born in Germany, Jens has a media computer science degree and has worked with Flash since 1999. He received several awards for his work including the Animago Award for for Education/Interactive DVD Design and Macromedia Website of the Week Award for one of the first Flash Video websites.

Jens has diverse engineering, multimedia and design skills, and a sophisticated understanding of the Flash platform and strategy.  He is currently working on Flash Rich Internet and Broadband/Flash Video applications as Senior Engineer for Creative Bubble in New York City. Jens was also involved in building one of the first Flashcom providers Uvault, and developed several backend solutions including a Bandwidth monitoring tool and a load-balancing solution. He is currently working on multimedia, broadband and educational projects for high-profile clients and is an active community member.
