David Stiller

Biography

David is a career multimedia programmer/designer whose portfolio includes NASA, Adobe, and major US automotive and boat manufacturers. His interest in multimedia production began with the now-vintage Macromedia Director 6.5 and slowly evolved toward the Flash Platform as ActionScript increased in maturity. Currently, David freelances full time under the auspices of his company, Quip (quip.net), which provides custom solutions for a variety of multimedia, web, and video needs.

David gets a kick out of sharing "aha!" moments with others through consultation, mentoring, and regular contributions to the Adobe Flash and ActionScript forums. David is a proud partner of Community MX, a web development training site geared toward Adobe products.  In the off hours, his interests include unicycling, anaglyph 3D photography, finely crafted wooden game boards, Library of Congress field recordings, and Turkish coffee. (Actually, the coffee interest occurs during all hours!) David lives in Virginia with his amazing wife, Dawn, and his beguiling daughter, Meridian.
