Biography

Self confessed geek, XHTML/CSS guru and ex Cape Town DJ, Mark Bloomfield is Owner, Designer and Coder for The Yellow Llama – A South African web design studio. Priding himself in 100% W3C Validated Coding, Mark puts great effort in to making accessible websites that maintain a modern and leading edge flair.

Working in web design for just on 6 years now, Mark had humble beginnings - creating websites with the likes of Front Page and Net Objects Fusion. Recently however, he discovered the wonders of tableless designs and coding with XHTML 1 and CSS 1, and now is proficient and up to speed with the developments in XHTML 2 and CSS 3. Mark also shares his knowledge with local designers and coders by providing basic courses in designing with Adobe Photoshop 8 and coding with Dreamweaver 8.  

When not behind his computer, Mark enjoys rollerblading, bodyboarding and generally being outdoors. If he had pets, he'd have a dalmation called "Stripes" and a duck named "Bill".
