Flash technology has been shipped on over 400 million Nokia phones across the globe. With Nokia, Flash technology becomes more broadly available, because it is supported across all Nokia platforms and is widely integrated with Nokia’s mobile WebKit browser. Nokia makes publishing Flash content easy via Ovi Store. Through S60 Platform Services, Nokia also enables Flash developers to use GPS-location and calendar functionality and much more.

Easy publishing with Ovi store for Nokia devices
Distributing software is easy. Nokia offers consumers the Ovi Store for easy application discovery. With a simple process and low-cost publishing through the Ovi Store, Flash Lite content developers can reach more than 180 countries overnight. Publishing is very simple: Just follow the link, sign up as an Ovi Store publisher, pay a low registration fee, and you’re ready to go. (https://publish.ovi.com/login) Nokia has a public beta of Nokia signing Symbian apps for free. Starting on June 23 2010 with this public beta, we are exploring a developer workflow to reduce the time for Ovi Publishers to two weeks and bring the cost involved to $0 (USD). At this time apps written with Qt, Symbian C++, and Flash Lite are supported.
