Working with text in Encore DVD
If you’re unfamiliar with the Adobe® standard Character palette, this tutorial is for you. In this detailed video tutorial, Chad Perkins shows you how to apply text formatting, such as font, size, leading, and tracking in your Adobe Encore® DVD 2.0 project using the Character palette.

About the authors
Chad Perkins was one of the first in the world to become an Adobe Certified Expert in Encore DVD, and is also and Adobe Certified Expert in both Photoshop and After Effects. He has almost half a decade of experience teaching graphics applications at advanced levels all over the United States. He has worked with many of the leading software training companies, and is also the author of several video based training titles on Adobe products. Chad has an amazing wealth of knowledge in digital art creation and production. As he teaches about everything from video to print to Web, he employs a charismatic and humorous approach that keeps students entertained and enlightened.
Chad served for more than two years as the digital 3D and animation specialist at Virtual Images Unlimited in Southern California. At VIU, Chad became a specialist and innovator in lenticular technology. He now serves as a digital media art consultant to other companies desiring to enhance their workflow in lenticular art creation. Chad is also the owner of Aveconta, an architectural previsualization rendering studio that renders 3D CGI buildings from blueprints. Currently, he is also directing a CGI-based short film and developing a post-production studio.
