Snapshots in Adobe® Photoshop® Lightroom™ provide a way for you to literally take a snapshot of your image at a particular moment in time so you can return to that appearance later quickly and easily. This is particularly useful when you want to create multiple versions of an image, such as when you create a color and a black-and-white version of the same image. It is also helpful as you are working on your image and making relatively significant adjustments so you can easily go back to a point that you were happy with an image.
