Acrobat.com and the cloud

Acrobat.com allows you to easily share files across your mobile devices, desktop, and the cloud. Your files will be accessible from both Acrobat and Creative Suite desktop products. For more detail, see the following:

Logging in

  1. If you are not currently signed in, from the Home page tap My Account > Sign In or Acrobat.com > Get Started.
  2. Log in or create a new account. You will automatically remain logged in.

Viewing files

To see all the files you've stored on Acrobat.com:

  1. Log in if you have not already.
  2. From the Home page, tap Acrobat.com. All of your Acrobat.com files appear. From here you can:

Uploading an open PDF

Upload your files to Acrobat.com so that you can access them from anywhere and any device:

  1. Log in to Acrobat.com.
  2. Open any PDF.
  3. Tap or the device's menu button.
  4. Tap Save to Acrobat.com.

Uploading files from PDF or Folder view

Upload your files to Acrobat.com so that you can access them from anywhere and any device:

  1. Log in to Acrobat.com.
  2. From the Home page, tap Documents
  3. Long press one or more PDFs.
  4. Tap .
  5. Tap Save to Acrobat.com.

Verifying a file is uploaded

To see what files exist on Acrobat.com, do one of the following:

Exporting PDFs to other formats

Subscribers to the ExportPDF service can export PDFs to another format and use optical character recognition to scan text into another language as follows:

  1. Log in to Acrobat.com.
  2. Go to the Home page.
  3. Tap Documents or Acrobat.com.
  4. Long press or open any PDF and tap it to show Action Bar.
  5. Tap .
  6. Select the target format such as .docx, .rtf, and so on.
  7. If you need to translate content, tap Recognize scanned text in and choose a language.
  8. Tap Export.

Creating PDFs

Subscribers to the CreatePDF service can convert non-PDF files in certain formats to PDFs as follows:

  1. Log in to Acrobat.com.
  2. Go to the Documents or Acrobat.com file view.
  3. Tap .
  4. Tap a non-PDF file.
  5. Tap Convert.
The file is automatically moved to Reader's Outbox and uploaded to Acrobat.com for conversion.

Saving file changes

Files are saved automatically and re-uploaded when edited. For example, after adding a comment and tapping the checkmark, your file appears in Reader's Outbox and is uploaded to Acrobat.com.

Subscribing to new services

Tapping My Account from the Home page shows you all available services and whether you are subscribed. To add a service, simply tap Subscribe, and follow the workflow.

Signing out

  1. From the Home page, tap My Account.
  2. Tap Sign Out.
  3. Tap Sign Out again to confirm the action.
