Adobe AIR has amazing support for integrating HTML/JavaScript applications with the desktop, but with all of the added functionality there are some additional tools and techniques that will be needed. This article discusses the differences between web development with HTML/JavaScript and application development with the same tools.

This tutorial requires an understanding of working in Dreamweaver CS3 as well as an intermediate understanding of JavaScript.
