The sample applications contained in the quick-start topics demonstrate some of the most important or popular aspects of specific Adobe AIR features.
Getting started
To get started working with the quick-start sample applications, follow these steps:
- Set up your development environment so that you can work with the sample code and compile and test the applications. For more information, refer to the HTML Developer's Guide for Adobe AIR.
- Download the sample application source files from the online location linked in each of the quick-start topics.
- Install the sample applications using the Adobe AIR SDK and the command-line tools.
- Unzip the sample application files into a folder on your computer. Create a new folder for each, if you like.
- With the SDK properly installed and configured (the SDK added to your class path), you're ready to test the samples.
