Follow these steps to start building your first Flex application on Adobe AIR:
Download the Adobe AIR runtime.
You need the runtime to launch AIR applications.
Download and install Adobe Flex Builder 3 or the Flex 3 SDK.
Flex Builder 3 is an Eclipse-based development environment that provides a rich set of tools to help speed app creation. The Flex 3 SDK enables you to build and debug Flex applications built on AIR.
