Arno Gourdol is a director of engineering for the Adobe Flash Runtime at Adobe Systems. He has worked on Adobe AIR, Adobe's multiscreen runtime for standalone apps on desktop, mobile devices, and TVs. Previously he led various initiatives within the Adobe Creative Suite Business Unit, including XMP, Version Cue, and Bridge. Prior to joining Adobe in 2001 he was part of the User Interface team at Apple that conceived, designed, and implemented the Mac OS X user interface. Arno is a graduate of Grenoble University. He lives in San Francisco and enjoys traveling from Abel Tasman to Zanzibar.
