Asa Whillock is a Flash Media Server project lead, responsible for heading the FMS Escalations and Security team. He has worked on FMS since its inception in 2001 as Macromedia Flash Communication Server. He's most proud of being primary developer on some of the most successful features of Flash video, such as H.264 integration, SWF verification, and RTMPE. Asa graduated with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley and lives in San Francisco. He believes that the success of FMS relies on delivering quality not only at release time but also in engaging with customers and partners every day.
