Eugene Medynskiy is a fifth-year Ph.D. candidate in the Human-Centered Computing program at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He works with Professor Elizabeth Mynatt in the Everyday Computing Lab.

Eugene's research focuses on designing systems for individuals who are trying to realize personal health and wellness goals. He is investigating how self-monitoring, together with strategies that increase self-efficacy, can improve the likelihood of goal achievement. He is developing a system, called Salud!, which supports users in selecting and managing appropriate goals through tracking and analysis of self-collected data.

In 2005, Eugene received a B.S. in Computer Science from Cornell University.
