Jamie Scanlon was first introduced to Flash while pursuing a career in photography in New York City. He built his own website in Flash in order to show off his portfolio but it was not long before his colleagues started soliciting him to build their own portfolio sites. In 2004 he decided to start his own Flash web design business and focus full-time on Flash development. In 2007 Jamie was hired to work for JibJab in Los Angeles as the lead Flash/Flex developer. While working at JibJab, he built several applications, including ElfYourself, Star Wars Starring You, and the JibJab media player, which averages over 25 million views per month.
