Adobe Captivate 2 allows anyone to rapidly develop engaging e-learning content. Download and install it, and you are ready to capture your onscreen actions. Depending on your recording mode, you may end up with an interactive simulation where the learner must follow onscreen prompts to complete a task, a demonstration that the learner can watch, or a scenario simulation. Demonstrations are great for online help systems or user support. Simulations are most effective for training users on specific tasks, since they require the learner’s input, and/or tracking and Scenario simulations are best suited for role-playing, sales and management training.

By simply publishing to the Adobe Acrobat Connect Enterprise Server, you instantly give access to your simulation to selected users or the whole world. If you do not have a Learning Management System (LMS), you can take advantage of the reporting functionality in Adobe Acrobat Connect Training and see which learners have completed the simulation and which interactions or quiz questions caused learners to struggle.
